This is a one-time remaining stock of genuine Hunter HPV-100-G-NI 1″ FNPT globe valves. Hunter no longer manufactures HPV. When this lot of 600 is gone, it is not coming back — the current 1″ FNPT globe is PGV-100G.

Hunter built four core HPV bodies. Only the HPV-100G / HPV-100-G-NI (1″ globe, no flow control) is on this listing. If your valve is a different row, this is not a drop-in.

Replacing the whole valve on a legacy HPV system.
This NOS HPV-100-G-NI is the same 1″ FNPT globe as HPV-100G — use it as the repair part if that is the body you have. Hunter’s current successors are the PGV-100G (no flow control) and the PGV-101G (with flow control). Angle bodies map to PGV-101A. Male thread × barb is PGV-100MB. Just rebuilding an existing HPV.
Hunter still stocks the solenoid assembly: 606800 (AC) and 458200 (DC latching). The rest of the HPV rebuild stack is gone — bonnet266602/266702, diaphragm266902, spring266000, support ring265000, bonnet screw266100. We do not carry those internals. If the body is cracked or the diaphragm has failed, replace the whole valve (this one-time HPV-100-G-NI lot, or a PGV successor).

Is the Hunter HPV valve still made?
No. This is a one-time remaining lot. Hunter discontinued the HPV and SRV lines. When these 600 valves are gone, the current 1″ FNPT globe replacement is PGV-100G.
Can I use this as a repair part if I already have an HPV valve in the ground?
Yes, if your existing valve is an HPV-100G 1″ globe with no flow control. SKU HPV-100-G-NI is a drop-in replacement of the whole valve on the same 1″ female NPT footprint. It is not a rebuild kit — bonnet, diaphragm, and spring internals are discontinued. If you have an HPV-101G (flow control) or an angle body (HPV-100A / HPV-101A), do not order this globe.
What does the “NI” in HPV-100-G-NI mean?
Factory cartons are labeled HPV-100-G-NI. That is the standard 1″ HPV globe with NPT threads and no flow control — the same valve as HPV-100G. If that string is on your paperwork or the valve body, this is the part.
What replaced the Hunter HPV?
The Hunter PGV family. For a 1″ FNPT globe with no flow control, the current equivalent is PGV-100G. For flow control, use PGV-101G. See our HPV discontinued replacement guide for the full family table.
Will a PGV-100G fit where my HPV-100G was?
Yes for a 1″ FNPT globe body — PGV-100G uses the same 1″ female NPT inlet/outlet footprint. Confirm you do not actually have an angle body (HPV-100A / HPV-101A) or slip/BSP threads before you order a globe replacement.
Is New Old Stock still under warranty?
Manufacturer warranty on discontinued NOS is expired. This listing is a clearance / one-time lot. Per our Returns & Refund Policy, clearance items are non-returnable, and used or installed valves are not accepted. If a unit arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us immediately with photos — do not install it.
Can I still get rebuild parts for my HPV?
The AC solenoid 606800 and DC solenoid 458200 are still available. Bonnet, diaphragm, spring, support ring, and bonnet screws for HPV are discontinued and we do not stock them. If internals have failed, replace the whole valve with this NOS HPV-100-G-NI, or move to PGV-100G.
