Wirevirus

Wirevirus makes a pocket-size pair of modules that run two irrigation valves from one good field wire. The single pack, SKU BG-WV-1, includes one module for the controller cabinet and one for the valve box. The two pieces are interchangeable, waterproof, and use 18-gauge copper leads with color-coded wires. They work with standard 24-volt AC controllers, need no batteries, and stay within a 1-amp load, including a master valve that draws under that limit. Crews use Wirevirus to add a zone when the controller has an open station, or to bring a valve back when its field wire is broken, without pulling a new wire to the clock. Big Irrigation stocks the BG-WV-1 single pack for residential and light commercial irrigation systems.
