Hunter BOC-400 — Four Wireless Stations, No Field Wiring
The Hunter BOC-400 is the 4-station SkyCommand field controller — the most stations Hunter puts on one battery-operated node. It is built for manifolds in a single valve box: four DC-latching outputs, IP68 housing, soil-moisture input, and local program memory. Stack BOC-400s across a campus until you hit 100 devices or 400 stations on that UCH site.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is 4 stations the SkyCommand maximum?
Four stations is the maximum per BOC device. A site can run up to 100 BOCs (400 stations) plus repeaters, with unlimited sites in Centralus.
Can BOC-400 share a valve box with the valves?
Yes. Hunter says install each BOC in its own box, or in the same box as the valve if there is room. The UCH includes a 1.5 in hole saw for lid mounting.
How far can BOC-400 be from the UCH?
LoRa range depends on terrain. Hunter specifies up to about 3 miles with in-line solar repeaters (RPT). Use the SST site survey tool before you commit to radio paths.
Does BOC-400 include batteries or a solar panel?
No. Install four D-cell batteries, or add BOC-SOL (LiFePO4 solar kit with 40 ft cable) and remove the alkaline cells.
