Febco 825Y-QT-FS RPZ Backflow Preventer 2 in. FPT – Quarter-Turn + Flood Sensor (F825HBV)

The Febco 825Y-QT-FS is a bronze, Y-pattern reduced pressure zone assembly (RPZ) that provides the highest level of mechanical protection of potable water against high-hazard (toxic) cross-connection by backsiphonage or backpressure. Used on potable water service, irrigation systems, boiler feed, and industrial water lines. This is the 2 in. FPT model.

• Bronze main and relief valve bodies
• Two independent spring-loaded Y-pattern check valves + hydraulically dependent differential relief valve
• Full-port quarter-turn ball-valve shutoffs and test cocks
• Rated 175 psi, 32°F–140°F
• Meets ASSE 1013, AWWA C511, CSA B64.4; USC FCCCHR approved
• 2 in. FPT (NPT) end connections

Sensor note: Includes a factory-installed flood sensor (SentryPlus Alert®) mounted on the relief valve to detect excessive discharge. The sensor is passive on its own — it requires an add-on connection kit (BMS, cellular, or Wi-Fi, sold separately) to actually transmit alerts.
