Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the Hydrawise HPC-400?
No. This is a Hunter Pro-C P2C-400 kit with PCM expansion modules installed. It programs at the backlit facepack and uses optional PC-WIFI + Centralus for remote access. Hydrawise, Predictive Watering™, and the HPC color touchscreen are a different controller.
What is included in this 16-zone kit?
The outdoor P2C-400 4-station controller, one PCM-300, and one PCM-900. The modules are installed so the controller is ready for 16 conventional stations out of the box.
Can I add Wi-Fi later?
Yes. Choose the Add Wi-Fi variation to include the PC-WIFI module, or add that module later. Centralus is the Pro-C cloud software — it is not Hydrawise.
Can I expand beyond 16 stations?
Yes. One more PCM-300, PCM-900, or PCM-1600 slot combination can take conventional wiring to 23 stations. For two-wire or hybrid jobs, add a PC-DM decoder module and EZ-1 decoders (up to 32 total stations).
Does this use Solar Sync or Hydrawise weather?
Pro-C uses Hunter Solar Sync (or Clik sensors) on its two sensor inputs. It does not use Hydrawise Predictive Watering.
