Does the ROAM work with Hydrawise controllers?

Yes. The ROAM receiver connects to the sensor input on any Hydrawise controller (HC, Pro-HC, HPC, HCC). You can activate zones remotely while the controller is connected to the Hydrawise cloud.

Can I run multiple zones at once with the ROAM?

The ROAM activates one zone at a time. When you switch to a different zone, the current zone turns off and the new zone turns on. This is by design to maintain proper water pressure.

What's the difference between the ROAM and ROAM-LR?

Accepted Answer

The ROAM has a 1,000 ft range and one-way communication. The ROAM-LR (Long Range) has up to 1 mile range, two-way communication with real-time status feedback, an LCD display, and multi-station activation capability.
