Why Febco
The RPZ already on the water letter
- 825Y / 825YA — the Febco RPZ patterns most irrigation backflow tests already list.
- Quarter-turn + flood sensor — QT-FS assemblies for faster isolation and leak awareness.
- Lead-free options — LF825Y when the potable spec requires it.
- Kits and air gaps — rebuild parts and ADG-Y air gaps without a second vendor.
Febco FAQs
What is the difference between Febco 825Y and 825YA?
825Y is the in-line RPZ. 825YA is the angle-pattern RPZ — same protection, different piping geometry. Match the body you are replacing.
Do these include quarter-turn shutoffs and a flood sensor?
The QT-FS SKUs we feature include quarter-turn ball valves and a flood sensor. Read the product title — not every rebuild kit includes those.
When do I need lead-free LF825Y?
When local code requires lead-free on the potable / irrigation point of connection. If the existing tag says LF, stay LF.
