Question 1

Is Big Irrigation Supply the official TruAudio website?

Accepted Answer

No. We are an independent retailer. TruAudio® is a trademark of its owner. We are not TruAudio corporate, not the manufacturer, and not endorsed as the official TruAudio site.

Question 2

What outdoor audio products do you carry?

Accepted Answer

This storefront focuses on TruAudio landscape speakers, patio speakers, burial and hardscape subs, amplifiers, UltraScape bundles, weatherproof in-ceiling Element speakers, and installation accessories.

Question 3

Should I buy landscape or patio speakers?

Accepted Answer

Buy landscape speakers (AcoustiScape, UltraScape satellites, rock speakers) when you want sound across gardens, paths, and pool edges without boxes on the patio. Buy patio speakers (OP6, OL-5) when people sit in one zone and you can mount to a wall, soffit, or post. Many yards use both. See the landscape vs patio guide on this shop.

Question 4

Do I need a burial subwoofer with outdoor speakers?

Accepted Answer

If the listening area is larger than a courtyard or you play music at conversation volume, yes — satellites alone sound thin outdoors. A SubTerrain Pro or UltraScape burial sub keeps bass even and stays out of sight. Use a Hardscape 12-inch sub when you cannot excavate. See the burial-sub and hardscape-vs-burial guides on this shop.

Question 5

What is a TruAudio UltraScape system?

Accepted Answer

UltraScape is a packaged landscape kit: a burial subwoofer plus four satellite speakers. UltraScape 10 (TRUBUNDLE2) uses a 10-inch sub and 4-inch satellites. UltraScape 12 (TRUBUNDLE3) uses a 12-inch sub and 6.5-inch satellites. Both expand to eight satellites and two subs. An amplifier is sold separately. Larger lots that need the amp in the same cart use the PAKLEA estate packages (six AS-2s plus a 10-inch sub, four sats plus a 12-inch sub, or four AS-3s plus a hardscape sub). Spec steps are on the UltraScape vs MAG and spec-UltraScape guides.

Question 6

What is the difference between AS-1, AS-2, and AS-3?

Accepted Answer

All three are AcoustiScape landscape speakers with 8-ohm / 70V / 100V switching and a ground stake. AS-1 is the compact 4.5-inch for smaller beds. AS-2 is the 6.5-inch most contractors specify. AS-3 is the 8-inch, 120W model for larger outdoor spaces. AS-360 is the 360-degree option when one stick must cover all around. See the AcoustiScape AS-1 / AS-2 / AS-3 guide.

Question 7

Are TruAudio outdoor speakers 8 ohm or 70V?

Accepted Answer

AcoustiScape landscape speakers and several subs are switchable 8 ohm / 70V (and often 100V). Patio OP6 and OL-5 are 8 ohm. Use 8 ohm for short residential runs and 70V when the wire run or speaker count is long. The product page lists the taps. See the 8 ohm vs 70V outdoor guide.

Question 8

Do you help with system design?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Use Contact and choose Design help with your listening areas, lot size, and whether you want landscape satellites, patio boxes, or a burial sub. We do not publish a support email on the site — contact is through the modal only.

Question 9

What warranty applies to outdoor speakers?

Accepted Answer

TruAudio’s published outdoor policy is a limited 5-year warranty on outdoor speakers and subwoofers for the original purchaser. Confirm the current manufacturer page for the SKU you buy. Claims go through Big Irrigation Supply — see Warranty.

Question 10

How do I track my order?

Accepted Answer

Use Track order on this site with your order email or order lookup. Tracking updates when the shipment leaves our warehouse.

Question 11

How does TruAudio compare to Sonance, Origin, or Coastal Source?

Accepted Answer

They compete in the same outdoor category. TruAudio’s AcoustiScape landscape speakers are 8 ohm / 70V / 100V switchable on one SKU, UltraScape ships as a burial-sub-plus-four-satellite kit, AS-2 and OP6 carry IP66 ratings, and we spec from a landscape/irrigation counter instead of a CEDIA-only quote. Confirm any competitor sheet with that dealer — we do not publish their prices. MAG6.1 / MAGROCKS math is on Compare and the UltraScape vs MAG guide.

Question 12

Do you offer wholesale or contractor pricing?

Accepted Answer

Use Contact and select Wholesale with your company name and typical order volume. Project pricing is handled by our sales team, not self-serve checkout.
