Question 1

Is the Pro-HC 24 the right choice for a golf course?

Accepted Answer

The Pro-HC 24 is excellent for sports turf and municipal irrigation. For full golf course applications with hundreds of heads, Hunter's ICC2 or Pilot centralized control systems may be more appropriate. The Pro-HC 24 is ideal for clubhouse landscapes, practice facilities, and smaller courses.

Question 2

What makes the Pro-HC 24 the 'best value'?

Accepted Answer

At $610 for 24 zones, the Pro-HC 24 costs roughly $25 per zone — significantly less per zone than the 6 or 12-zone models. You get the same enterprise-grade stainless steel enclosure, Hydrawise cloud features, and professional capabilities at a lower cost per zone.

Question 3

Can I run multiple zones simultaneously?

Accepted Answer

The Pro-HC operates zones sequentially by default for optimal hydraulic performance. However, you can configure overlapping programs if your water supply supports simultaneous zone operation.
