Question 1

Can the HC-600i be installed outdoors?

Accepted Answer

No. The HC-600i is an indoor-rated controller only. For outdoor installations, choose the Pro-HC series which features a NEMA-rated weatherproof enclosure.

Question 2

How many zones does the HC-600i support?

Accepted Answer

The HC-600i supports 6 zones. If you need more zones, consider the HC-1200i (12 zones) or the Pro-HC series which offers 6, 12, and 24-zone options.

Question 3

Does the HC-600i work with Hunter flow sensors?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The HC-600i is compatible with Hunter HC-series flow sensors. Adding a flow sensor enables real-time leak detection, broken pipe alerts, and water usage reporting in the Hydrawise app.

Question 4

Why is the HC-600i listed as limited stock?

Accepted Answer

Hunter Industries has transitioned to newer controller models. The HC-600i is being sold through remaining inventory. Once stock is depleted, the HPC-400 or Pro-HC 6 are recommended alternatives with the same Hydrawise platform.
