Question 1

What's the difference between the HC-600i and HC-1200i?

Accepted Answer

The only difference is zone count: the HC-600i supports 6 zones while the HC-1200i supports 12. Both share the same physical enclosure, WiFi connectivity, Hydrawise cloud features, and app interface.

Question 2

Can I expand the HC-1200i beyond 12 zones?

Accepted Answer

No. The HC series is fixed at its rated zone count. If you need more than 12 zones, consider the Pro-HC-24 (24 zones) or the HCC-800 which is modular and expandable up to 54 zones.

Question 3

Does the HC-1200i support a master valve?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The HC-1200i has a dedicated master valve / pump start relay terminal, allowing you to control a master valve or pump that activates when any station runs.
