Does the WAND work with all Hunter controllers?

No. The WAND is exclusive to Hunter X2. Pro-C 2014+ uses HPC-FP. ICC2/HCC face uses 941500. ICC/ICC2 modular uses HCCFPUP.

Will watering continue if Wi-Fi drops?

Yes. The X2 keeps running its local schedule. The WAND resyncs to Hydrawise when the connection returns.

How long does install take?

Usually under five minutes once you have 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi at the controller. No tools or rewiring for a standard X2.

Upgrade Hunter X2 to Hydrawise with the WAND

If the wall unit is a Hunter X2, the Hydrawise upgrade we stock is the WAND Wi-Fi module. It plugs into the X2 WAND port. It is not a standalone controller and does not replace Pro-C, HPC, ICC, or HCC face panels.
